Dollar Tree Easter Bunny Egg
I love Easter time! It’s such a fun, happy time especially with the little ones! When I found these wooden eggs at the Dollar Tree I knew exactly what I wanted to do with a couple of them, and it was a win for me too because I got to incorporate one of my napkins into it! I hope you enjoy following along with this Dollar Tree Easter Bunny Egg, and make one of your own too!
Supplies:
Dollar Tree Wooden Egg
Scrapbook Paper
Bunny Napkin
Burlap Flower
Yellow RickRack
Black Paint
Antique Wax
First, I painted the entire bottom of the egg and onto the top edge with the black paint.
Second, I cut a piece of the scrapbook paper to fit the top of the egg, and secured it down using Mod Podge.
Third, I cut the Easter bunny out of the napkin.
Fourth, I secured the bunny to the bottom of the egg using Mod Podge. I then used the Antique Wax around the outer edge of the egg, and around the bunny.
Fifth, I hot glued the burlap flower to the back corner of the egg, at the bunnies tail.
Finally, I cut a length of the yellow rickrack and hot glued it across the top of the egg.
Here’s the final project, how do you think it turned out? I think it came out beautiful, and can’t wait to get it into my craft booth! This craft project was a blast to make, and took next to no time at all. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The Easter Bunny napkin absolutely made this project come to life!
