Dollar Tree Nautical Anchor Sign

I love finding supplies at Dollar Tree, that I can either completely redo into something uniquely mine or may just give them a touch of my ideas to make them better! I’m finding new and amazing supplies every time I go into that store lately, and I couldn’t be happier! Who doesn’t love supplies that cost next to nothing and come out amazing all the same? I know I do! I hope you follow along with this Dollar Tree Nautical Anchor Sign, and love it as much as I do!

Supplies:

Dollar Tree Anchor Cut Out Sign
Paints- Red, White, Blue
Antique Wax

First, I taped around the parts of the cut out that connected to the outside frame. And then I removed the hanger and the beads, setting them aside for later to reuse.

Second, I painted the frame of the cutout with the red paint.

Third, I painted the anchor part of the cutout with the blue paint.

Fourth, I used Antique Wax on the outer edge, handles, and inner circle of the wheel.

Fifth, I painted the inner spokes of the wheel with the white paint.

Sixth, I took the beads I had set aside earlier and painted one with the red, one with the blue one with the white and the last with the Antique Wax.

Finally, I threaded the beads onto the hanger I had previously removed knotting after each bead to hold it in place. I then retied it through the holes at the top.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it came out? I absolutely love this, the colors just make the whole thing come to life and I couldn’t be happier! What did I say about Dollar Tree and the new craft supplies they’ve been stocking? Amazing, aren’t they? There are so, so many projects I could make from just a handful of the things they’re carrying now! So what do you think, will you be giving this Dollar Tree Nautical Anchor Sign a try?
