DIY Cardinal Floral Pocket

When I found this tin wall pocket in my stash an idea immediately came to me, and I had to run with it. I sifted through my totes and totes of napkins until I found the cardinal one I was looking for, then got right to work. I had so much fun making this DIY Cardinal Floral Pocket, and I hope you follow along and decide you just have to make one too!

Supplies:

Tin Wall Pocket
Cardinal Napkin
Greenery
Berries
Ribbon
Bell
Glitter Paint
White Paint

First, I painted the tin pocket with the White Paint.

Second, I used Mod Podge and secured the cardinal napkin onto the front of the pocket. I then made sure to smooth it out and remove the excess.

Third, I gave the pocket a coating of the glitter paint.

Fourth, I added the greenery and the berries to the pocket.

Finally, I cut a piece of the ribbon, tied it into a bow and glued that along with the bell to the top of the pocket. I then added some more of the glitter paint to that.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I love it, and can’t wait to bring it over to my craft booth. This will be a huge hit, I don’t think it will be there long! I had so much fun putting this together, and couldn’t wait to show it to you! The greenery and the berries really pull the whole project together too! I hope you will be giving this DIY Cardinal Floral Pocket a try for yourselves!
