DIY Vintage Style Christmas Tree
Here’s another one of my Christmas projects I just got finished with! I have so many different ideas for craft projects that I can’t wait to get started on. This DIY Vintage Style Christmas Tree is a craft idea I’ve had for a while, and couldn’t find the shape I needed for it, so I decided I would just make my own triangle. I got a piece of wood and my trusty saw and made it happen. Follow along and decide if you’d like to make one too, I think you will!

Supplies:
Wooden Triangle Tree – I cut myself
Wooden Round Piece – My Stash
Scrapbook Paper- Hobby Lobby
White Paint
Antique Wax
Mini Wooden Star

First, I cut a triangle shape from some wood I had. Then I covered the edges of that and also the entire wooden round piece with Antique Wax.

Second, I traced the triangle onto the scrapbook paper and cut it out.

Third, I used Mod Podge to secure the scrapbook paper to the triangle piece.

Fourth, I glued the mini wooden star to the tip of the triangle.

Finally, I glued the wooden triangle to the center of the wooden round piece.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I absolutely love it! The scrapbook paper with the Antique Wax give it the perfect vintage feel and still letting it be festive. Who doesn’t love a Christmas tree project at Christmas time? This DIY Vintage Style Christmas Tree would be a perfect decoration for anyone this holiday season, and I can’t wait to get it into my craft booth. I’m anxious to see how quickly it will be scooped up, I think it will be a quick sell! So what do you think, will you be making this project? Did you decide to make it but change it up some? I would love to know what you’ve decided to do!
