DIY Gingerbread House Spool
When I found this gingerbread house ornament at my local Walmart, I just had to buy it. I had the perfect project in mind that I knew this would be perfect for. Gingerbread houses are some of my favorite Christmas time props, and this one was adorable! When I got home with it, I went through my craft supplies and found an old wooden spool and the DIY Gingerbread House Spool was born! Follow along, you will not be disappointed!

Supplies:
Gingerbread House Ornament- Walmart
Wooden Spool
Red and White Check Ribbon
Tinsel Ribbon
White Paint

First, I painted both ends of the wooden spool with the White Paint.

Second, I cut a length of the red and white check ribbon and glued it around the center of the spool.

Third, I glued the gingerbread house to the top of the spool.

Finally, I cut two pieces of the tinsel ribbon and glued one to each end of the spool.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I love it, it came out just as I imagined it would! It’s so fun, and festive, and looks perfect for this Christmas season! This will be the perfect edition to my stocks of Christmas craft projects in my craft booth, and I can’t wait to get it over there! My Christmas crafts seem to be flying off the shelfs, so I’m glad I have so many ideas for more projects. I hope you followed along with this DIY Gingerbread House Spool, and have decided that you will be giving this one a try too!
