Dollar Tree Mirror Bird Sign
Aside from the thrift stores, Dollar Tree is one of my favorite places to find crafting supplies! I usually make the trip into my local Dollar Tree at the same time as the thrift stores. My local Dollar Tree has some pretty amazing inventory this past year, and I never seem to leave empty handed. When I came across this mirror on my last trip in I knew it was perfect for what I needed for a project I had recently decided to make. Follow along with this Dollar Tree Mirror Bird Sign, you will not be disappointed!
Supplies:
Dollar Tree Mirror
Bird Print- MY SHOP
Vintage Chalk Paint
First, I removed the mirror from the frame. I then traced it onto the bird print, making sure to try and center the bird in the center. Finally, I cut it out.
Second, I painted the frame of the mirror with the Vintage Chalk paint.
Third, I lightly sanded the frame, giving it that worn look.
Finally, I used Mod Podge to secure the bird print to the mirror. I then placed it back into the frame.
Here it is all finished, what do you think of the finished result? I think this came out amazing, and was the perfect way to incorporate the bird print. The frame makes the print stand out, and I can’t wait to display it! This project was so, so simple and I had so much fun putting it together.
