DIY Dollar General Wooden Chocolate Bunny

When I was last in at my local Dollar General Store, I came across these wooden bunnies, and had to have them. I ended up grabbing up a couple of them for my Springtime, and Easter craft projects. When I was coming up with ideas for them, I decided I wanted to make one chocolate, just like the chocolate bunnies I used to put in my kids Easter baskets. Follow along with this DIY Dollar General Wooden Chocolate Bunny, I think you’ll love it!

Supplies:

Dollar General Bunny
Burnt Umber And White Paint
Twine
Pompom

First, I painted the whole bunny with the Burnt Umber paint.

Second, I painted the bunnies base with the White paint.

Third, I used the end of my paint brush, and the White paint and dotted around the whole bunny.

Fourth, I glued on the large pompom for the bunnies tail.

Finally, I cut a length of twine and tied it into a bow around the bunnies neck.

Here it is all finished, how do you think the final project came out? I love him, he turned out just as I imagined he would. I’m so glad I decided to get a couple of these bunnies, because my ideas for it are running crazy in my head! I hope you enjoyed this DIY Dollar General Wooden Chocolate Bunny as much as I did making it! Will you be making one of your own?
