Dollar Tree Patriotic House
I love this time of year when I can start in on my Patriotic crafting. There are always so many ideas floating around in my head, that I can’t wait to get started on them. I always have so many people asking for my Patriotic crafts, so I always make sure to have as many as I can made pretty early! Follow along with this Dollar Tree Patriotic House, I think you’ll love it as much as I did making it!
Supplies:
Dollar Tree Valentine House
Stars and Stripes Paper – Joann’s
Wooden Star – My Stash
White Paint
Antique Wax
First, I painted the entire outer edge of the house and slightly inward, with the White Paint.
Second, I traced the body of the house onto the Stars & Stripes scrapbook paper and cut it out.
Third, I gave the house a coating of Mod Podge, and secured the paper down onto it.
Fourth, I painted the trim of the roof with the Antique Wax.
Fifth, I painted the star with the White Paint.
Finally, I glued the star to the center of the house.
Here it is all finished, how do you like the final result? I think this is one of my more favorite patriotic crafts in a while. It was so simple to make, and still came out amazing. It sometimes shocks me that some of the best projects are the ones that take very little time or supplies. I think this Dollar Tree Patriotic House will be a huge hit at the store, and I may actually make a couple more to have a few on the shelf. So what do you think, will you give this one a try?
