DIY Tier Tray Flag
Some of my most favorite craft projects are ones where I get to make patriotic themes blend into my projects! I also love when I can make these projects with things I already have laying around in my craft supplies. This DIY Tier Tray Flag is just such a project! Come check it out, I think you’ll love it!

Supplies:
Scrap Wood Piece
Paints- Almondine, Deep Burgundy, Deep Midnight Blue
Wooden Star
Dark Walnut Stain

First, I painted a small section of one end of the scrap wood with the Deep Midnight Blue Paint.

Second, I painted the rest of the scrap wood with the Almondine Paint, I went all the way around the entire piece.

Third, I taped off sections of the Almonde section, all the way around. I painted all the empty spaces with the Deep Burgundy Paint. This created the red and white stripes like our flag.

Fourth, I painted the wooden star with the Almondine Paint.

Fifth, I glued the star to the center of the blue section.

Finally, I covered the entire thing with the Dark Walnut Stain.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I absolutely love this craft project, I think it looks amazing! When I can create something our of scraps I had laying around I couldn’t be happier! This DIY Tier Tray Flag will definitely be a huge hit just like all of the other patriotic crafts I make! Do you think you’ll be giving this one a try too? I’d love to see what you do you with version!
