DIY Christmas Sweater Star
Some of my favorite craft projects start from items I find at the thrift stores! I love taking something that was discarded and making it my own. It’s even better when I get to use those items in my Christmas craft projects! Christmas time is one of my most favorite times to make projects for! Follow along with this DIY Christmas Sweater Star, you won’t be disappointed!

Supplies:
Thrifted Standing Star
Thrifted Sweater
Black & Antique White Paint

First, I removed the greenery from the star and painted the front and back with the Antique White Paint.

Second, I laid the thrifted sweater over the star and cut as close to the stars shape as I could get it.

Third, I used Mod Podge to secure the sweater to the star.

Fourth, I painted the base with the Black Paint.

Finally, I reattached the greenery to the center of the star.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I love this craft, I think it came out amazing! The sweater just gives it that warm, cozy winter feel that I like around Christmas time. I’m definitely liking it more than I originally found it when I purchased it! Giving thrift store items I find a complete makeover and making them my own sometimes is better than creating something completely new. Do you think you may want to give this DIY Christmas Sweater Star a try for yourself?
