Bunny Easel Makeover

This project has two of my most favorite supplies in it, and I can’t wait to share it with you! I found this Easter easel at my local thrift store, and had the perfect project come to me! It also has one of my many bunny napkins, from my napkin stocks in it! I love being able to incorporate my napkins into my projects! Follow along with this Bunny Easel Makeover, you will not be disappointed!

Supplies:

Thrifted Easter Easel
Bunny Napkin
White & Vintage Blue Paint
Ribbon

First, I removed the twine wrap and set it aside for later. I then painted the face of the easel with the White paint. Then I painted the frame and legs of the easel with the Vintage Blue paint.

Second, I gave the face of the easel a coating of Mod Podge, then laid the napkin centered on that. I then covered it with a piece of parchment paper, and used my mini iron to smooth it out.

Third, I trimmed off the excess napkin around the edges.

Fourth, I put the twine wrap that I had previously removed, back around the top of the easel.

Finally, I ended up deciding to move the beaded ends to the other side of the easel. I then cut a piece of the ribbon I chose and tied it around the knotted section of the twine.

Here it is all finished, how do you like the final result? I think it came out amazing, and couldn’t be happier with the end result! I think the napkin I chose made the project pull together and I can’t wait to show it off! What do you think, will you be trying this Bunny Easel Makeover for yourself?
