Crafting is so much fun as it is, but how much better is it when you can find your supplies right in the back yard. Nothing is better than finding something for no cost that can be made into an amazing craft project. With little to no effort this project came out awesome. Follow along with me for a Christmas Scrap Wood Ornament.

Supplies:

Scrap Wood- Found in my yard

Fabric

Greenery Stem

Scrapbook Cutout

Silver Bell

Wire

I found this piece of wood in my back yard. Instead of painting it I just went ahead and cleaned it up. I liked the aged patina and rustic look of it as is.

Now that your wood piece is cleaned up go ahead and take the scrapbook cutout that you chose and attach it to the center of the wood. I used a small dab of hot glue to do this.

Next go ahead and take your greenery stem and shape it into a circle. Take this “mini wreath” that you made and go ahead and glue it around your scrapbook cutout.

Now take the piece of fabric that you chose and tie it into a bow. Attach this with a small dab of hot glue on the bottom of the greenery piece.

Next take your silver bell and again using hot glue attach it to the center of the fabric bow.

Finally add the piece of wire that you have to the top of the wood to create a hanger. With this last step you are all finished.

This project came out even better than I had expected. I love how it looks on the tree. This was a super enjoyable DIY and I hope you all like it as much as I do. Do you think you will make a Christmas Scrap Wood Ornament?
