DIY Arch Pumpkin

Who doesn’t love pumpkins during the Fall months? I know I sure do, they always seem to bring out the Fall vibes for me! So when I found this arch on clearance, an idea struck me and I knew I had to bring it to life! I didn’t need a whole lot of supplies and it was so simple to put together, that I wish I had been able to find a couple more so I could have made a few. Sometimes that’s the hardest part of my crafting, not being able to make more so that I could keep one and still be able to bring one to my craft booth! I hope you follow along with this DIY Arch Pumpkin and decide to give one a try for yourselves!

Supplies:

Clearance Arch
Almondine Paint
Antique Wax
Finial
Spanish Moss
Fall Floral Picks

First, I coated the frame of the arch with Antique Wax.

Second, I painted the inside lattice of the arch with the Almondine paint.

Third, I gave the finial a coating with the Antique Wax.

Fourth, I glued the finial to the top center of the arch, creating the pumpkins stem.

Fifth, I grabbed a bunch of the Spanish Moss and placed it around the stem.

Sixth, I took the Fall floral picks and placed them around the stem.

Finally, I took a bunch of raffia, tied it into a large bow and glued it to the center of the stem.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? Remind you of Fall? It sure does to me! I love the Antique Wax look with the Almondine paint, they definitely mesh well together! This is absolutely another project I’m having trouble parting with! I think it would look amazing with the rest of my Fall decorations, but I know it would be a huge hit in my craft booth! I really hope you enjoyed this DIY Arch Pumpkin, and have decided that you’d like to make one of your own too!
