DIY Candy Cane Bowl Filler

Christmas is upon us once again, and I’m back at my holiday crafting! Making crafts for the holiday seasons especially Christmas are my favorites! I have so many ideas for Christmas crafts and this DIY Candy Cane Bowl Filler is my latest creation! I hope you like this as much as I had fun making it and you decide to give it a try too!

Supplies:

Candy Cane Candy Holder
Red & White Ticking Fabric
Greenery
Burlap Window Pane Ribbon

First, I took my red and white ticking fabric and ripped it into strips.

Second, I hot glued the end of the ticking fabric to the bottom of the candy cane candy holder, folding over and gluing where necessary until it was all even. I then began wrapping it up the candy cane, gluing when needed.

Third, once I had all of the candy cane wrapped with the ticking fabric, I hot glued the end folding and adding more glue where necessary to have it all secured.

Fourth, I took the piece of greenery and glued it onto the middle of the candy cane.

Finally, I cut a length of the burlap windowpane ribbon and tied a bow with it around the candy cane.

Here is the final project, how do you think it turned out? This was such a simple project to complete, and using such simple things that most people with children probably have in their homes this time of year would make it fairly easy for anyone to put together! You could use any fabric you chose as well to make it your own! Do you think you’ll give this DIY Candy Cane Bowl Filler a try too? Merry Christmas!
