So I had this little chest of drawers sitting around that I was trying to figure out what to do with for awhile. Adding some paint to any old furniture always gives it a second life. Especially when you can add a little more of your imagination as well. Follow along with me as I show you a DIY Chest Of Drawers Makeover.

Supplies:
Chest Of Drawers
Paints- Sage & White
Tissue Paper- Dollar Tree
Sand Paper
Mod Podge

I started out by pulling all of the drawers out of the chest. I then painted the inside and outside of the drawers with the white paint. This took a few coats, make sure to cover completely.

Next I added pieces of scrapbook paper to the sides of the drawers. You will use Mod Podge to attach the paper.

Next I used the sage green paint and covered the front of the drawers as well as the chest.

After the paint dried I put the drawers back in and gave the entire chest a light sanding. This gives the piece a shabby chic look, which fits in great with my own personal decor. I like how this little revamp came out a lot. It was simple and easy, especially having the materials already at home. Do you think you will do a DIY Chest Of Drawers Makeover?
