I found these small little jars at Hobby Lobby for $1.00 originally $1.99 but they were on sale 50% off. Loved them and I wanted to make something with them I just didn’t know what. I decided to grabbed some stickers while I was there and a plan was formed. Finally I decided to make a little Christmas Jar, filled with some Christmas greens. Follow along and I will show you how I did I created this DIY Christmas Jar!

Step 1

First I painted the jar with a few coats of white acrylic paint, allowing to dry between coats.

Step 2

Then I added one of the stickers from the stickers I bought at Hobby Lobby, they are in the Christmas craft section. They had several types of stickers, I chose ones with a clear background.

Step 3

To seal the jar I added some Glamour Dust using a soft brush I applied one coat. Glamour Dust is a sparkle clear coat. This is also from Hobby Lobby and is made by DecoArt. it is hard to see the sparkles in a picture, but you can kind of see it.

Step 4

I used a Christmas pick I got at Dollar Tree, I cut it apart and arranged it in the jar.

Step 5

Wrap some twine around the jar and tie in a bow in the front. I love how this turned out, it is so cute and easy! These would make cute little gifts for your co-workers, teachers, or even to keep as decor for a shelf. I will be making a couple more for sure!

How Do you think this DIY Christmas Jar turned out?
