Halloween is one of my most favorite holidays! Who doesn’t love ghosts, witches and all the scary fun stuff there is to make and create? When I saw this ghost at Dollar Tree I just had to have him! Come follow along while I make this DIY Dollar Tree Boo Ghost! It was so fun and so easy to make!

SUPPLIES:

Dollar Tree Ghost
Tissue Paper
Star Stamp
Letter Stamps
Black Ink
White Paint
Antique Wax
Twine
Burlap
White Fabric
Mod Podge

First, I painted the ghost completely with the white paint. I used two coats of paint.

Second, I took the tissue paper and crumpled it up.

Third, I took the tissue paper and flattened it back out and used it over the front of the ghost and fastened it with modge podge. Then I sanded around the ghost and got rid of the extra tissue paper.

Fourth, I used the star stamp and the black ink and pressed the stars to the ghost. Space them out however you want your stars on the ghost!

.

Fifth, I used the antique wax and went all around the edges of the ghost and also the base.

Sixth, I took the white fabric and the burlap and cut out three equal size triangles out of each. The white fabric triangles are just a smidge smaller than the burlap triangles.

Seventh, I used the letter stamps and the black ink and stamped boo on the white fabric triangles. Next I modge podged the white fabric triangles to the burlap triangles and attached them to a long rope piece of twine with knotted ends and modge podged the knots to each arm of the ghost!

Here he is all finished! I think he came out absolutely adorable and was so fun and easy to make! This was one of my favorite ghosts to make, he just the right amount of fun but boo scary! Do you think you’d like to make this DIY dollar tree boo ghost?
