DIY Dollar Tree Ghost Frame

Halloween is such a fun time to create crafts for, and I always have a blast doing it. When I was at my local Dollar Tree stocking up on supplies recently, I came across these frames that I had the perfect craft in mind for. They just screamed ghost to me, and this DIY Dollar Tree Ghost Frame was born. Come check it out, you will not be sorry you did!

Supplies:

Dollar Tree Frame
Dollar Tree Ghost
Scrapbook Paper
White and Black Paint
Lace
Flower
Vinyl Boo Cut Out

First, I took the frame apart and painted the outside frame with the Black Paint.

Second, I cut a section of the scrapbook paper that I wanted to use, and then trimmed it to fit into the frame.

Third, I reassembled the frame with the scrapbook paper inside.

Fourth, I painted the ghost with the White Paint. I then blotted some of the Black Paint around the edges.

Fifth, I applied some Gold Leaf Rub n’ Buff around all of the edges of the frame.

Sixth, I added the vinyl “BOO” cut out to the edge of the ghost.

Finally, I glued the ghost to the scrapbook paper inside the frame.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I couldn’t be happier with this project, it came out exactly as I envisioned it. I’m loving how the gold looks on the frame, and gives it kind of a spooky look. I think I may keep this DIY Dollar Tree Ghost Frame for my own stash of Halloween decorations. I’m hoping you decide to give one a try too!
