I know it’s only November, but let’s face it Christmas is basically right around the corner. With all the projects I have in mind for the upcoming season I figured I better get crafting now. I was at my local Dollar Tree the other day and they have all of their Christmas craft supplies out so of course I took a peak and grabbed a couple things. This wooden snowflake caught my eye and I knew that I could add a little something to it to make it look awesome. Follow along with me for a DIY Dollar Tree Gingerbread Snowflake.

Supplies:
Dollar Tree Snowflake
Brown Paint
Dimensional White Paint
DecoArt Enchanted Shimmer and Holographic Illusions

First start out by covering your snowflake with the brown paint. Make sure to completely cover the entire thing.

Next using a ruler and some white chalk or a colored pencil go ahead and draw lines across the snowflake.

Once you’ve drawn your lines across your snowflake go ahead and take your white paint and go over the lines. At the end of the lines add little tiny dots to make them pop.

Once your white paint is dry go ahead over the entire snowflake with the enchanted shimmer paint. This adds an amazing touch to this craft.

Next once your enchanted shimmer has dried, go over the entire snowflake again with your Holographic Illusion paint.

This came out super adorable and would look great hanging on the wall, door, or nestled into a little Christmas village display. I love how easy and affordable this project was. Do you think you will make a DIY Dollar Tree Gingerbread Snowflake?
