I always love making spooky little projects that I can use my imagination and creativity with. So when I saw a mini Haunted House at, you guessed it, Dollar Tree, I couldn’t help but grab it. Follow along with me and learn how to make your very own DIY Dollar Tree Haunted House.

Supplies:

Haunted House (Dollar Tree)

Napkin (Dollar Tree)

Halloween Embellishments (Dollar Tree)

Paint- Black

Mod Podge

Hot Glue

Step 1, take your Haunted House and cover it with a layer of Mod Podge.

2, while your Mod Podge is still wet, take your Halloween napkin and cover the front of the Haunted House with it. Once the Mod Podge has dried cut the napkin out of the window and door holes of the Haunted House. If you use a nail file inside the windows to remove the excess paper, it makes things so much easier!

3, gather up your Halloween embellishments, I chose to use some Halloween branches, plastic skeleton and spiders, some moss and some mini plastic pumpkins. You can choose to decorate your Haunted House however you prefer.

4, I added my embellishments with the exception of the moss to the front of my Haunted House using hot glue.

5, once the glue from my embellishments was dry, I added a small amount of moss to the bottom of the house also using the hot glue to attach.

Finally, I added a couple mini plastic pumpkins, (that I distressed a bit with some antique wax) to the top of my moss with a small dab of hot glue.

This project was a blast to make I had so much fun and was able to be super creative. I hope you enjoyed this DIY project as much as I did. Do you think that you will make a DIY Dollar Tree Haunted House?
