Having a quick and simple craft you can throw together is always great when you need a last minute gift for an unexpected guest or some extra decorations for a family get together. Follow along with me for this super cute DIY Dollar Tree Yarn Christmas Tree.

Supplies:
Styrofoam Cone- Dollar Tree
Yarn- Dollar Tree
White Pompoms- Dollar Tree
Mini Snowflakes- Hobby Lobby
Mini Pot- My Stash
White Paint

Start by adding a very small dab of hot glue to the end of your yarn and attaching it to the top of the styrofoam cone. Then wrap the cone with the yarn covering the entire thing. When you get to the bottom of the cone go ahead and add another small dab of glue to the end of the yarn to keep it secure from falling off.

Once your yarn is secure, go ahead and grab your white pompoms. Using small dabs of hot glue go ahead and attach the pompoms all around the tree, make sure to spread them out.

Now add your mini snowflakes to the top of the tree using some hot glue.

Next grab your white paint and fully cover your mini pot. This could take a couple coats to make sure the brown doesn’t show through.

Again using your hot glue attach the mini pot to the bottom of the styrofoam cone. This looks like a little tree stand.

This was a quick and easy craft to throw together. It could be added to a hutch display or a table centerpiece to bring everything together. Also you could gift this to a family member or friend if you’re in a pinch for a last minute gift. Do you think you will make a DIY Dollar Tree Yarn Christmas Tree?
