Since I was a little girl Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays. I loved waking up to the shiny cellophane around a big basket, baking all kinds of fun treats and making cute crafts. As most of you know from following me I am also a huge fan of old trucks, so I figured why not bring the two together. I saw this cute wood truck when I was poking around at Walmart and knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. Follow along with me for a DIY Easter Truck Sign.

Supplies:
Wood Oval Sign- Dollar Tree
Wood Truck- Walmart
Wooden Eggs- Dollar Tree
Half Wood Beads
Mini Wood Flower- Dollar Tree
Scrapbook Paper- Hobby Lobby
Ribbon & Fabric
Brown Wax

Start off by tracing both your wooden truck and your wooden eggs onto your scrapbook paper, and cut out to the size traced.

Once you have all the scrapbook paper cut out, go ahead and attach it with Mod Podge. At this point you can also paint your mini wooden flower and half beads with your pink paint.

Take the wooden oval and cover with an antique white paint. After the paint dries cover with brown wax and wipe off lightly to give it a “wood” look.

Attach the truck to the wooden oval sign, also attach the “hubcaps” that we painted to the bottom of the truck and attach your mini flower to the center of where the truck door would be. This was all done using hot glue.

Next hot glue the wooden eggs into the bed of the truck, so that it looks like the truck is hauling the eggs.

Finally make a bow out of the ribbon and fabric. Tie them together and attach to the top left of the oval with hot glue.

This came out super cute, I really enjoyed putting it together. You can mix and match paints and scrapbook paper to match your style. This will really look great to decorate anywhere in the house for the holiday. Do you think you will make a DIY Easter Truck Sign?
