Even though it’s still the middle of Summer the weather is finally starting to cool off thankfully. So, I figure let’s start crafting for the upcoming Fall season. I love having cute decor around the kitchen, especially when it’s handmade. Follow along with me for a DIY Fall Mini Cutting Board.

Supplies:

Mini Cutting Board- Dollar Tree

1/2 Wood Beads- Amazon

Chalk Paint

Window Clings- Dollar Tree

Faux Leaves- Hobby Lobby

Ribbon

Twine

Button

Drill

Hot Glue

Mod Podge

First start by drilling a hole into the handle of the mini cutting board

Next using hot glue attach the half beads onto the bottom of the cutting board

Now using the white chalk paint cover the entire cutting board and the 1/2 beads. This could take a couple coats to fully cover everything.

Next attach the window cling to the cutting board and cover with Mod Podge.

Once the Mod Podge on the window cling has dried we are going to attach our bow. I used a ribbon of my choice and and a little dab of hot glue, I wrapped a small piece of twine around the center of the bow.

After I attached the ribbon bow, I added a twine bow on top to make it really stand out

Now using hot glue add some of the faux leaves around the ribbon

Next add your button to the center of your ribbon with some hot glue

Finally using a piece of the twine and run it through the hole that was drilled in step 1. This is going to be used for your hanger.

This project came out so super cute and it was really fun to put together. I love that you can choose any window cling and make it fit into the decor at your house. You could also switch it up and decorate it for other holidays or seasons. Do you think you will make a DIY Fall Mini Cutting Board?
