DIY Farmhouse Shelf Peg Key Holder
Some of my favorite crafting supplies come from the thrift stores, and this shelf peg key holder is no exception. While I was on my last supplies run I came across this item at my local thrift store and just had to buy it. I knew I could turn it into something beautiful, and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Follow along with this DIY Farmhouse Shelf Peg Key Holder, and hopefully you’ll love it as much as I do and want to give it a go too!

Supplies:
Thrifted Shelf Key Holder
White and Black Paint
Rub On Transfers – Amazon, here is my referral link

First, I painted the entire thrifted shelf key holder with the white paint.

Second, I painted the pegs with the black paint.

Third, I attached the rub on transfer to the back of the shelf. Link to Transfer is in supplies list.

Finally, I used the sponge applicator with black paint and sponged around the edges of the entire key holder.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I absolutely love this craft, it came out exactly how I envisioned it would. When I find items from the thrift store that someone no longer had use for and can turn them into my own creation, I couldn’t be happier when they turn out like this! This is one of my more favorite crafts in a while. I’m having a hard time deciding if I want to bring this over to my craft booth or if I want to keep it here at home. So what do you think, did you like this DIY Farmhouse Shelf Peg Key Holder enough to give one a try for yourselves?
