DIY Farmhouse Tag
I love finding supplies I can craft with at Dollar Stores, or thrift stores, but I also love when I find the perfect craft supply on clearance. When I came across this tag on clearance, I knew exactly what I wanted to make with it. I’ve had the idea for this DIY Farmhouse Tag for a while, and debated on cutting my own wood tag, but then I came across this, and got so excited. I Hope you follow along, you will not be disappointed if you do!
Supplies:
Clearance Wood Tag
White Paint and Black Paint
Farmhouse Stencil
Buffalo Check Ribbon
Button
First, I painted the tag with the White Paint.
Second, I laid the farmhouse stencil in the middle of the tag, and taped it down.
Third, I applied the stencil using the Black Paint.
Fourth, I cut a length of the Buffalo Check ribbon, and tied it into a double headed bow. I then glued it to the top of the tag.
Finally, I glued the button to the center of the bow.
Here it is all finished, how do you like the final project? Do you think this is something you would like to make? I love how it turned out, it definitely has that farmhouse feel I was looking for and can’t wait to display it! It definitely made me excited when I finally found the tag, after trying to come up with an idea to use these stencils on.
