It’s my favorite time of year again! I absolutely love making crafts for the Christmas holiday, and gingerbread crafts are some of my favorite! When I get to put all of my Christmas craft ideas into my work, nothing makes me happier! I hope you love this DIY Gingerbread Standing Sign as much as I do and give one a try for yourself!
Wood Round – Michael’s
First, I used the white paint and painted the wood round and the Jenga block.
Second, I used Mod Podge and glued down the peppermint napkin to the front of the wood round. I then trimmed off the excess napkin.
Third, I took the painted Jenga block and hot glued it to the back of the wooden circle so it would stand on its own.
Fourth, I hot glued the gingerbread ornament to the front, center of the peppermint napkin covered circle.
Fifth, I used Mod Podge to attach the striped ribbon around the whole outer edge of the wooden circle.
Finally, I used another piece of the striped ribbon and created a bow, then used the tinsel ribbon to secure it. After the bow was complete I hot glued it to the top of the wooden circle.
What do you think of how the final project turned out? I love the festive feel and the Christmas look of this project and I’m loving how it turned out! Whenever I can incorporate gingerbread men into my Christmas crafts, I do it as much as I can! Nothing is more fun than little cookie men at Christmas time! I’m hoping that you can give this DiY Gingerbread Standing Sign a try for yourselves and bring the holiday spirit into your crafts!
