The Christmas Season is back and I can’t wait to get into all of my holiday crafting! Christmas is one of my absolute favorite holidays to make crafts for, and I don’t think there’s anything better to put me in the holiday spirit! I had so much fun making this DIY Gingerbread Tea Light Candle while it was also such a simple and easy craft to put together! I hope you give one a try too!

Supplies:

Battery Tea Light
Gingerbread Washi Tape – Hobby Lobby
Paints- Brown, Black, White & Red
Enchanted Shimmer- Michael’s

First, I painted the battery operated tea light with the brown paint.

Second, I secured the Gingerbread man Washi tape around the outside of the tea light.

Third, I used the end of my paintbrush with black paint to make the eyes above the tea light bulb.

Fourth, I again used red paint to make the cheeks on the tea light.

Fifth, I used black paint to paint on the mouth of the gingerbread man.

Sixth, I used an embossing tool to add the white dots to the cheeks and the dots for the pupils of the eyes. I then painted the bulb of the tea light red for the nose using two coats.

Finally, I once again used the embossing tool with white paint to make the dots around the outside of the tea light.

Here it is all finished, what do you think? I’m thinking that I may have to make a few more! They’re so fun and easy to make while also being super cute! I think they would look cute placed around the house to give more of the festive holiday feel! I hope you enjoyed this DIY Gingerbread Tea Light Candle craft and want to try it too!
