DIY Hanging Heart Frame
When I found this metal heart at Hobby Lobby on clearance I knew I had to get it and turn it into some kind of beautiful craft. With Valentines day coming up quick I knew it would be perfect! I found an old frame at the thrift store the same day and decided that I would merge the two and make this beautiful DIY Hanging Heart Frame. I hope you enjoy this DIY and give one a try too!

Supplies:
Wood Frame – thrift store
Metal Heart – Hobby Lobby clearance
Ribbon
Pink and White Chalk Paint

First, I painted the metal heart with two coats of the pink chalk paint.

Second, I painted the wood frame I found at the thrift store with the white chalk paint.

Third, I lightly sanded around the raised areas on the heart.

Finally, I cut a length of ribbon and threaded it through the small hole at the top of the heart securing it to the center of the wooden frame by tying a bow.

Here is the project all completed, how do you think it turned out? These two pieces turned out to be the perfect fit together and I couldn’t be happier with the way this craft project turned out! I can’t wait to get this piece into my new craft booth. I hope you enjoyed this DIY Hanging Heart Frame and consider doing one of your own too!
