Fall is one of my absolute favorite seasons of the year, and I love making crafts that have to do with the Fall months! When I found these jello molds I had the instant idea to turn them into pumpkins. I knew I had to make my idea come to life and loved these immediately! Do you think you might give these DIY Jello Mold Pumpkins a try too?

Supplies:

Jello Molds
Spray Paint – Antique White & Orange
Spools
Spanish Moss
Fall Florals
Raffia
Antique Wax

First, I spray painted a couple of the jello molds with the orange paint. I’m actually only using one of each color for this project and saving the extras for another craft. I also saved one of the jello molds in the natural color to use in this craft.

Second, I used the Antique White to spray paint a couple more of the jello molds.

Third, I lightly sanded around the jello molds once the paint dried.

Fourth, I used the Antique Wax on the jello Molds, and then again on the three different sized spools. I used different sizes to give a different dimension to each pumpkin.

Fifth, I hot glued the spools onto the three jello molds and added the Spanish Moss around those.

Sixth, I used some of the Fall florals and added them to each of the molds entwining it with the Spanish Moss.

Finally, I added a Raffia bow to two of the jello mold pumpkins leaving one without. I really liked the way it looked with and without the bow.

Here is the final result, and I absolutely love how they came out! The shape of these jello molds is perfect for the pumpkin look I needed and I couldn’t be happier with how these turned out. What do you think? Do you think you might give these DIY Jello Mold Pumpkins a try too?
