One of my most favorite holiday seasons is Christmas, and every year I can’t wait to break out all of my Christmas crafting supplies and get to work on making new and exiting projects! When I happen to be out and about looking for new craft supplies and come across the perfect pieces to turn into festive crafts it makes my day! I found the perfect tin sign and couldn’t wait to turn it into this DIY Joy Poinsettia Sign. I hope you enjoy this craft and get to try your hand at one too!

Supplies:
Tin Sign – Dollar Tree
Napkin – Dollar General
Joy Cutout – Hobby Lobby
White & Gold Paint
Gold, Green and Red Ribbon – Hobby Lobby

First, I removed the twine holder from the tin sign and then painted the entire thing white.

Second, I opened the napkin completely and then used Mod Podge to glue it to the tin sign.

Third, I painted the “Joy” cutout with the red paint.

Fourth, I lightly sanded the edges to remove excess napkin and then added a small amount of gold paint here and there.

Fifth, I also added small amounts of gold paint around the edges of the “joy” cutout.

Finally, I used hot glue to attach the “joy” cutout to the front of the sign and also attached the ribbon through the holes making knots to make the hanger.

Here is the DIY Joy Poinsettia Sign all finished, what do you think? I love making Christmas crafts they bring so much festiveness into the holiday season, and I can’t wait to get them started each year! This project came out so bright and definitely brought out the “JOY” of the piece. I hope you enjoyed it and make one for yourselves to show off in your home this holiday season! Merry Christmas!
