Living in New England all my life I get the privilege of having all 4 seasons. With that being said Fall or Autumn whichever you prefer is by far one of my favorites. I love the gorgeous foliage we get, the colors that the leaves change to are practically indescribable. So with that being said I decided to make some colored leaves of my own for a little accent to my Fall/Halloween decor. Follow along with me for a DIY Leaf Garland.

Supplies:

Leaf Bundle

Faux Leaves- Leather and Burlap ones

Paints- Copper & Bronze

Mini Clothes Pins

Twine

Start off by using your copper and bronze paints to paint your leaves. We are going to paint 3 copper leaves and 3 bronze leaves.

Now using the mini clothes pins clip the painted leaves to your faux leaves.

Next tie the ends of your twine with loops. You can make the length as long as you would like. This obviously is going to depend on how many leaves you choose to use.

Now start clipping the leaves on alternating colors and adding burlap ones in between the painted ones.

This was a super easy and quick little project to throw together. It would for sure be a great craft to do with the kiddos. I love that you could use this in basically any room of the house. You could also change some of the colors to fit your style better. Do you think you will make a DIY Leaf Garland?
