DIY Lemon Hanging Sign

I love crafting for Summer time. It’s so much fun, and there is always so much color with the projects I put out. The Summer months bring so much life and joy and this DIY Lemon Hanging Sign screams Summer to me! I couldn’t wait to gather all the supplies I needed to get started on this project when the idea came to me! I hope you fall in love with this project like I did and decide you want to have one too!

Supplies:

Dollar General Sign
Wood Lemon Cut Out
Scrapbook Paper – Hobby Lobby
Paint- Yellow and Black
Sticker – Hobby Lobby
Ribbon

First, I painted the lemon and the bottom and top rim of the sign with the yellow paint. I then painted just under each rim with the black paint.

Second, I cut a piece of the scrapbook paper to fit the sign and used Mod Podge to secure it down.

Third, I glued the lemon at an angle in the middle of the sign.

Fourth, I placed the sticker I chose onto the center of the lemon.

Finally, I cut a length of the ribbon and tied it into a bow around the hanger.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I absolutely love this craft! The way the yellow of the lemon pops against the black and white scrapbook paper is my favorite. This craft was so super simple and took my very little time to make, yet it looks amazing! I can’t wait to get this DIY Lemon Hanging Sign into my craft booth on my next restocking run! Did you fall in love with this project, will you be making one of your own too?
