DIY Lemon Shelf Sitter Block

I love when I can use napkins from my overflowing supply of napkins for my craft projects. When I had found this wooden block at my local Dollar Tree, I thought wow, that is the perfect size to use my napkins on. When I got it home, I went through my supply and decided on this lemon napkin to use! This project came out amazing and I hope you follow along to this DIY Lemon Shelf Sitter Block and decide you’d like to give it shot too!

Supplies:

Wooden Block – Dollar Tree
Lemon Napkin – My Shop

Mod Podge
White Paint
Greenery
Ribbon
Button

First, I painted the wooden block with the white paint.

Second, once the wooden block was dry, I gave it a coating of Mod Podge and laid the open napkin over it. I cut off all of the excess napkin around the edges.

Third, I hot glued some greenery across the top of the block, and then folded the ribbon into a bow and hot glued that on top of the greenery.

Finally, I glued the button to the center of the bow.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I couldn’t be happier with the final project, it came out exactly how I envisioned it would. That’s the thing that makes me the happiest with my projects, when I have a vision of something and it comes out just how I thought! Sometimes craft projects take a turn, and you have to readjust, and I have to admit sometimes for the better, but this one is exactly how I wanted it! I can’t wait to get this craft into my booth on my next restocking trip! I’m hoping you all loved this DIY Lemon Shelf Sitter Block as much as I did creating it, and have decided you want to try one too!
