I was at Walmart the other day and to my surprise all of their left over Christmas items were 90% off, there was no way that I could pass up a deal like that. So I poked around to see if I could find anything to make some fun projects out of. I found this cute little sign and figured with a quick little make over I could change this Christmas sign into something super cute for Valentines Day. This is a super easy project and the frame didn’t even need to be painted. This project proves that you should always think outside the box when creating and buying items to create.Follow along with me and check out how easily I changed this Christmas sign into a Valentine craft with this DIY Love Sign.
Walmart 90% off Christmas Sign
Dollar Tree Love and Heart Cutouts
Start off by cutting out the scrapbook paper to fit the inside of the frame. Then attach it to the frame using Mod Podge.
Next I added the love and heart cutouts to the inside of the frame. I painted one of the little hearts with white paint to make it stand out a little more. Attach these using a small amount of hot glue for each sign. Fill in the frame, still allowing the scrapbook paper to be seen in the background.
This project came out so cute and was super easy to make. It would look great sitting on a hutch or hanging on a wall in any room. You could have lots of fun with the kids with this one, mixing and matching colors and paper. Do you think you will make a DIY Love Sign?
