DIY Mushroom Terrarium

I was so excited when I came across this Bulb Terrarium at my local Dollar Tree! So many different ideas flew threw my head when I saw it, I had a hard time deciding just what to make with it. When I got it home and sat with the ideas for a few I decided on this DIY Mushroom Terrarium craft! I hope you follow along and decide to give this one a go too, I had a blast making it!

Supplies:

Dollar Tree Bulb Terrarium
Mosses
Rocks
Air Dry Clay
Clear School Glue

First, I took the air dry clay and formed multiples size mushrooms.

Second, I painted the stems of the mushrooms a light Tan color. I then added a little brown into the lines of the creases in the stems.

Third, I painted the mushroom caps with red paint.

Fourth, I used the end of my paint brush with White paint and made dots on the mushroom caps.

Fifth, I added rocks and some moss into the bulb terrarium.

Sixth, I poured the clear school glue on top of the rocks.

Seventh, I added more moss to the terrarium.

Finally, I added the mushrooms into the terrarium.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I had a blast making this DIY Mushroom Terrarium, and I think it came out amazing! I’m glad I decided to go in this direction! I think I may go back and buy a couple more and try some of the other ideas I had that I decided to wait on. So what do you think, did you like this DIY enough to be giving this one a try?
