Every season I decorate this little chair I have outside my front door. I have an old enamelware pot that is rusted and the bottom is half falling out, I still love it though! I decided I would show you how I decorate it, using greenery from my yard, and a few items from my Christmas décor. This is a fun DIY Outdoor Christmas Arrangement!

Here are some of the supplies I used, I didn’t end up using the bow though. That I used on another project for outside, a DIY Christmas Shutter click the link to see that also!

Step 1:

Put your set of lights in the bottom of the container you’re using. If you are putting your container outside, make sure your light set is approved for outdoor use.

Step 2:

Start adding your greenery, this is just some greenery I collected from my yard. If you can not get greenery you can use artificial. As I added the greenery I pulled up the lights around it, so the greenery was nestled all in the lights and visa versa.

Step 3:

This is where we start adding extras. I had some white sticks left over from a Fourth of July project I added those and some pinecones I also found in my yard. I was trying to keep the elements as natural as possible and free!

Step 4:

This is where I added a few things from my Christmas décor, again I chose items that weather wouldn’t hurt. A clear plastic snowflake and some Christmas bulbs, just nestled them into the greenery. Adding these just gave it a small pop of color and the snowflake really reflected off the lights! All done, how easy was that??!!

I just love the way this turned out! It was super simple and cost me nothing, I used found items in my yard and things I already had on hand!

GORGEOUS! I know my chair needs a new coat of paint at some point, I will have to wait for spring for that. What color do you think I should paint it?

Here is how it looks at night, when it is all lit up! I love the soft glow it gives off, so inviting! <3

What do you think of this DIY Outdoor Christmas Arrangement , do you love how it turned out?
