DIY Patriotic Spindle Fireworks
I love when an idea for a craft project strikes and I happen to have all supplies on hand. I had done a video tutorial on spindle fireworks last year, and decided to make another set for my booth. I hope you enjoy this DIY and decide you wouldn’t mind giving these a go too!

Supplies:
Wooden Spindles
Red, White and Blue Paint
Twine
Antique Wax
Rusty Star and Pin

First, I painted one of the wooden spindles with the deep burgundy paint.

Second, I painted another of the wooden spindles with the almondine paint.

Third, I painted the final spindle with the deep midnight blue paint.

Fourth, once all the spindles were dry I gave them a light sanding.

Fifth, I applied some of the Antique Wax to each of the spindles.

Sixth, I gathered the spindles into a bundle and used a length length of twine to tie a bow around them.

Finally, I used the rusty pin to secure the rusty star to the twine bow.

Here it is all finished, how do you think this craft project turned out? You could basically turn anything into something patriotic and these old spindles were no exception! I love how they turned out, and how my spur of the moment idea came together in the end! I hope you loved these DIY Patriotic Spindle Fireworks as much as I loved creating them and decide you want to give them a go!
