As many of you know I have a slight obsession with mini tart pans. I buy them any time I see them, I don’t know why I do this, but I do. It may be an issue, or maybe not when you can make SUPER cute things with them. Ok, confession out of the way, let’s get to business! While browsing Pinterest, or the time warp website as I call it…. I swear time goes by so fast as soon as you open that site. One minute you log on and then nest thing you know it’s been like 2 HOURS!! How does that happen?! Sorry, sidetracked AGAIN! Any who, I saw this peppermint wreath made from tart pans, and I was like OH MY I have a TON of those! It is a SUPER cute project, and it will help me rid some of my hoard of tart pans! WIN WIN, right?! Come see this DIY Peppermint Tart Pan Wreath come to life! On with the project!

Supplies:
Tart Tins- Thrift Stores
Foam Board or Thick Cardboard Preferably White
White Spray Paint
Red Paint
Spray Clear Coat
Glitter
Ribbon

First thing you’re going to do is lay out all your tart tins in a circle shape on your foam board. Once you have them laid out trace around them with a pencil

Second, cut out the fam board. I found that an exacto knife or box cutter style knife works best. This is going to be the base for our wreath, if you hadn’t figured that out yet. Maybe I am just over explaining things lol.

Third step is to take these outside and give them a couple coats of white spray paint.

Once they dry bring them back inside. Start marking every two bumps with a pen or pencil and then paint every two bumps red. This took a couple coats and was kind of tedious. Trust the process, it is so worth it. You can pop in a good movie or show and paint away!

Back outside we go with them! Grab your clear coat and spray them down and then add some glitter. Once that is dry, add another coat of clear coat to hole all the glitter in place!

After they dry, we can start gluing them onto the foam we out earlier. I used a combination of hot glue and e600. Once they we all glued on, I trimmed off any excess foam board you could see.

Finally, I wrapped some twine in between the top two tart pans for a hanger. Then I made a bow out of some burlap and some striped ribbon and tied that to the top. DONE! This turned out AMAZING! It exceeded my expectations and I absolutely love it!!

STUNNING!! What do you think? Do you think you’ll make this DIY Peppermint Tart Pan Wreath
