DIY Potted Mushrooms

When I found these faux mushrooms at my local Dollar General, I just had to have them! I had an amazing idea of what project to make with them, and I just happened to have the clay pots already on hand. Follow along with this DIY Potted Mushrooms craft, you will not be sorry!

Supplies:

Faux Mushrooms – Dollar General
Clay Pots
Floral Foam
Moss
Burnt Umber Paint

First, I painted all of the clay pots with the Burnt Umber Paint. I made sure to go inside just a little too.

Second, I filled each of the pots with the floral foam.

Third, I pushed the stick holding the mushrooms into the center of the floral foam.

Finally, I placed the moss all over the top of the floral foam around the base of the mushrooms.

Here they are all finished, what do you think, aren’t they just the cutest? I wish I had bought more now, because I think these will fly off the shelf, they’re so cute! I’m wishing I had made the trip to Dollar General sooner, because I just had a customer asking for anything with mushrooms recently. I hope you’ve decided that you want to give these DIY Potted Mushrooms a try for yourself too!
