DIY Potted Snowman
Christmas time and Winter is a beautiful time of year to make crafts for! I never seem to run out of ideas of projects to make, especially snowmen! When this time of year rolls around I feel like I make more projects than any other time of year! I’ve been sitting on the idea for this DIY Potted Snowman for a while and am so excited to finally be able to show you! Come check it out!

Supplies:
Small Terra Cotta Pot
Two Styrofoam Balls
Aleenes Glitter Snow
Snowman Nose
Small Black Buttons
Rusty- Snowflake, Pin, Bells
Homespun Fabric Strip

First, I painted the terra cotta pot with Tan Paint.

Second, I placed the larger of the two styrofoam balls into the pot and glued the smaller one on top of the first.

Third, I covered the styrofoam with the Aleenes Glitter Snow.

Fourth, I glued the small black buttons onto the smaller Styrofoam ball as the two eyes and the mouth. I then glued the snowman nose on.

Fifth, I cut a piece of the Homespun Fabric and tied it in-between the two styrofoam balls as the scarf.

Sixth, I glued the rusty bells as the snowman buttons.

Finally, I used the rusty pin to attach the rusty snowflake to the scarf.

Here it is all finished, how do you like it? I love this snowman, he’s so fun! Styrofoam balls are the perfect snowballs to make snowmen and I love him in the pot too! I’m going to make a bunch of these to bring into the store, I don’t think they’ll last long! Do you think you’ll give this DIY Potted Snowman a try?
