Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I love decorating for it and I love crafting for it too! One of my favorite styles for Christmas is rustic. When I saw this house on clearance, I knew I wanted to use it for a Christmas craft! I think crafting for Christmas makes it feel less commercialized, I miss the simpler days of Christmas. Come follow along as I turned this clearance house into a DIY Rustic Christmas House!

Supplies:

Wooden House – Mine was a clearance find
Scrapbook Paper – Hobby Lobby
Doily
Tag
Twine
Holly Button
Antique Wax

First, I cut my scrapbook paper to fit my house. Once it was dry, I sanded off the edges.

Second, I added some antique wax around the whole house.

Third, I aged my doily with some antique wax and then added it to my house using Mod Podge.

Fourth, I added some twine around the house and added this cute Christmas tag!

The scrapbook paper and tag came in a pack at Hobby Lobby with a bunch of other cute embellishments and other papers as well.

Finally, I added this little holly button to the twine. That is, it, all done!

How absolutely AMAZING this turned out!! I love it!! Everything flowed together so perfectly!
