I love to craft for the Christmas holiday season, and making anything to do with Santa is my absolute favorite! When the Christmas season comes around I could spend hours upon hours in my craft room making the many ideas that pop into my head come to life. I love to get my crafts completed and showing them to all of you! I’m hoping you love this DIY Rustic Santa Sign as much as I do, and give one a try too!
Dollar Tree Sign
Santa Greeting Card
First, I traced the wood round onto the greeting card around Santa, then cut it out.
Second, I used Mod Podge to secure the cutout Santa to the wood round. I then covered it with a coat of Antique Wax.
Third, I cut out a piece of the scrapbook paper to fit inside of the sign I found at Dollar Tree. I then used Mod Podge to secure it down. Next I glued down a length of the rope ribbon around the outer edge.
Fourth, I glued the Santa covered wood round to the center of the sign.
Finally, I hot glued a small amount of greenery to the base of the sign, then added the bell to it.
Here is the final result, how do you think it turned out? This was such a simple yet fun craft to put together, and I love how just taking simple items and changing them around while adding a few new things brings an entirely new feel to something. I hope you loved this DIY Rustic Santa Sign as much as I loved creating it. Do you think you’ll give this a go too?
