These wooden tags from Walmart are so much fun to create with! When I saw them, I had 100’s of ideas run through my head for all seasons! I can’t wait to create with them for other seasons and holidays! For this project I am making a spring style tag! Come follow along as I make a DIY Seed Packet Hang Tag!

Supplies:
Wooden Tag – Walmart
Scrapbook Paper – Joann’s
Coffee Stirrers – Grocery Store
Paints -Antique Gold, Greyish Blue
Ribbon & Raffia
Twine
Butterfly Cut Out – Dollar Tree Watering Can

First, I painted the outside of the tag with some antique gold paint.

Second, I added some scrapbook paper I had on hand. I choose this pattern because it went matched the seed packet scrapbook paper in the next step.

Third, I added this seed packet scrapbook paper I got at Joann’s right over the other scrapbook paper.

Fourth, I used these coffee stirrers I got at the grocery store and cut them to the size of the seed packet and painted them antique gold.

Fifth, I used those coffee stirrers to frame out the seed packet.

Sixth, I added a jute hanger to the top of the tag.

Finally, I made a messy bow and added it to the top of the tag. Once I had that on, I added a butterfly I painted to the center. The butterfly came from a Dollar Tree watering can that I had used in a previous craft, you can see it here.

How absolutely beautiful did this tag turn out? I love it!! It was easy to make too!
