DIY Snowman Coffee Pot

I love to craft for Christmas, and when I found this coffee pot at the thrift store I knew exactly what I wanted to make with it! Christmas crafts are some of the most fun to make because there are so many different things you could make! There never seems to be a shortage of ideas running through my head to craft at Christmas time, and this DIY Snowman Coffee Pot was just my latest idea! I hope you can get your hands on similar supplies and give this project a try too!

Thrifted Coffee Pot
Snowman Napkin
Black and Red Checkered Fabric
Paints- Red, Black, White
Mod Podge

First, I used the red paint and painted the body of the coffee pot, as well as the handle of the lid. I then used the black paint, and painted the lid and the handle of the coffee pot.

Second, I cut the snowman from the napkin, and traced his outline onto the side of the coffee pot. Then painted that area white, so the snowman would show up better.

Third, I used Mod Podge and filled in the entire outlined space of the snowman on the coffee pot. I then gently lined up the snowman from the napkin over the Mod Podge and secured it down.

Fourth, I painted snowflakes around the whole coffee pot, including on the lid with white paint. I then used the end of my paintbrush with more white paint and made the small dots around the pot as well.

Fifth, I added a small amount of white paint onto an old toothbrush and splattered with specks all over the coffee pot.

Finally, I used DuraClear around the whole coffee pot to seal the project. Once that was dry I took a length of black and white checkered fabric and tied a bow around the handle.

Here is the final result, how do you think it turned out? I absolutely love how this project came together! It brings so much holiday spirit to life with the colors and the snowman! I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out and I’m hoping you’re able to give one a try too! Christmas time is such an amazing time of year and this DIY Snowman Coffee Pot is the perfect craft to get me right into the holiday spirit! Merry Christmas!
