DIY Sunflower Hanging Mini Rolling Pin

Who doesn’t love sunflowers? I know I do, and when I found this mini rolling pin at the Dollar General, an idea to use a sunflower napkin I had popped into my head! So purchasing the rolling pin, and stopping at my local Dollar Tree for another little sunflower I had seen there previously, I headed home to get started on this DIY Sunflower Hanging Mini Rolling Pin! I hope you follow along and love it as much as I did making it!

Supplies:

Hanging Rolling Pin – Dollar General

Sunflower Napkin – https://shopcreatingthroughchaos.com/collections/napkin-bundles

Raffia

Small Sunflower – Dollar Tree

Yellow and White Paint

Twine

First, I removed the hanger the rolling pin came with and then, I painted the center of the rolling pin with the white paint.

Second, I then gave the pin a coating of Mod Podge and laid the sunflower napkin onto it, cutting off the excess.

Third, I painted the handles of the rolling pin with the yellow paint.

Fourth, I cut a length of twine and tied it through the hole in the top of the handle creating a hanger.

Fifth, I cut a large length of raffia and tied a bow around the top handle of the rolling pin.

Finally, I glued the small sunflower to the center of the raffia bow.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I absolutely love this craft project, the sunflowers just make it shine! I’m so glad I decided to ride out to the Dollar General to have a look there for supplies! I don’t usually get over there to much, but this rolling pin find was well worth the trip! I’m hoping you loved this project as much as I did creating it, and decide you want to have a shot at this DIY Sunflower Hanging Mini Rolling Pin.
