Sunflowers are my absolute favorite flower, so whenever I can add them to my craft projects I go for it. If you saw my post for the DIY Mini Truck House this is the same idea. This house just like the other one will be perfect for a tier tray or shelf sitter. Not to mention it would look great in almost any room of the house. Follow along with me for a DIY Sunflower Mini House.

Mod Podge

Buffalo Check Ribbon

Paint- Black & White

Iron

Parchment Paper

Start by painting the mini house with your white paint. Make sure to fully cover. Once the white paint has dried go ahead and use your black paint to cover the peak of the roof. Both steps could take more than one coat of paint.

Once both colors of paint have completely dried go ahead and cover the front of the house with Mod Podge. Let the Mod Podge dry before moving onto the next step.

Next separate your napkin layers and decide where to lay your napkin on the house.

Now lay the piece of parchment paper over the napkin and iron until the napkin is adhered to the house.

Add a final layer of Mod Podge over the front of the house to secure the napkin and seal it.

Now take your buffalo checked ribbon and make a bow. Once the bow is made attach it to the front top of the house using a dab of hot glue.

I love how this came out. It for sure will brighten up any room that you put it in. You can also choose whatever napkin you would like and maybe make it an all year decoration. Do you think you will make a DIY Sunflower Mini House?
