DIY Sunflower Pig
When I found this little wooden pig at my local Hobby Lobby, I had to scoop it up! And on clearance too! I had also recently found this sunflower scrapbook paper on Amazon, and knew it would be perfect for this project! The two came together beautifully to make this DIY Sunflower Pig! Follow along, you will not be disappointed, it’s the perfect summer project!
Supplies:
Clearance Hobby Lobby Pig
Sunflower Scrapbook Paper
Antique Gold Paint
Antique Wax
First, I lightly sanded the writing off of the pig, and removed the beaded necklace from it.
Second, I traced the pig onto the scrapbook paper, then cut it out.
Third, I used Mod Podge to adhere the scrapbook paper pig to the wooden one.
Fourth, I painted the beaded necklace I had removed with the Antique Gold Paint.
Finally, I glued the beads back onto the pig.
Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I love this little pig, it’s so beautiful! The scrapbook paper I chose was definitely the best pick! I couldn’t be any happier with this project, I think I may keep it for myself! What do you think, will you try and find a little pig of your own and give this DIY Sunflower Pig a try?
