DIY Thrifted Fall Tray
Who doesn’t love ways to add that at home feel to their house? When I saw this old tray I knew I had to come up with a way to turn it into something to use as a display piece! With the fall leaves and the aged look I gave to it, it just feels perfect on my table for the fall months! I hope you like this DIY Thrifted Fall Tray enough to give one a try for yourselves!

Supplies:
Thrifted Tray
Napkin
Paints, burgundy and antique white
Antique Wax
Mod Podge

First, I used the burgundy paint and painted the bottom side of the tray.

Second, I painted the inside of the tray with antique white.

Third, I used Mod Podge and glued in the fall napkins to cover the entire inside.

Fourth, I sanded around the edges to get the excess napkin off.

Finally, I used the Antique Wax around the outer edge, and over the napkin to give it that aged look.

Here is the final result! I think it came out amazing. You could put whatever you like onto the tray to display but, I used some acorns for more of that fall feel. Do you think you’ll give this DIY Thrifted Fall Tray a try?
