DIY Thrifted Rustic Sled Ornament
Some of my favorite craft projects have started with items I find at the Thrift stores. When I came across this sled ornament, I knew just what I wanted to make with it and couldn’t wait to get started! I usually make a weekly run to the Thrift stores to see what I can find, and they never seem to disappoint! Come check out this DIY Thrifted Rustic Sled Ornament craft project!

Supplies:
Thrifted Sled Ornament
Wooden Snowflakes
Greenery
Ribbons
Rusted Bell
Twine
White Paint

First, I covered the sled ornament with the Antique Wax.

Second, I cut a large length of twine, tied it around each end of the sled handle to create a hanger.

Third, I painted the wooden snowflakes with the White paint.

Fourth, I glued the snowflakes to the face of the sled.

Fifth, I used an old toothbrush with some white paint, and splattered the paint onto the sled.

Sixth, I glued some greenery across the handle of the sled.

Seventh, I cut three different styles of ribbon and tied them off at the center, creating a bow. I then glued that to the center of the greenery.

Finally, I glued the rusty bell to the center of the bow.

Here it is all finished, how do you think it turned out? I couldn’t be happier with the end result, and can’t wait to get it over to my craft booth! This DIY Thrifted Rustic Sled Ornament will be a huge hit, I’m having a hard time parting with it! This Thrift store sled ornament find definitely made this project, I was so excited to find it! What do you think, will you give this one a try?
