DIY Thrifted Scoop Makeover
I love to find things to remake at the thrift stores, and there are quite a few in my surrounding area that I make the rounds to! On my latest trip into my local thrift store I came across these old scoops and I grabbed them right up. I had an idea come to me for them and couldn’t wait to get started! Follow along with this DIY Thrifted Scoop Makeover.

Supplies:
Thrifted Wooden Scoops
Twine
DecoArt Chalk Paints – Vintage and Primitive

First, I painted one of the scoops with the Vintage color paint, and the second scoop I painted with the Primitive color paint.

Second, I lightly sanded around both of the scoops.

Finally, I cut two small lengths of twine and knotted them into hangers in the handles.

Here they are all finished, how do you think they turned out? I couldn’t be happier with the finished results, they came out just as I thought they would! I’m thinking I may keep these for myself instead of placing them to sell. I couldn’t believe my luck when I found them at my local thrift store and they came out amazing with little work! I hope you loved this DIY Thrifted Scoop Makeover as much as I did, and find some of your own to create!
